Wow. Even at full view it took me a couple seconds to realize this was a carving and not a real bird. Very nice work!

thats just amazing
every time i try to crave or do any kind of wood work my hands get mortally wounded
carving ...with in 30 minutes my hands are all bloodied up
wood burning ...i have multiple burns with in the hour
so major brownie points to you amazing

I use rotary tool, not a knife, but you can lose a lot of skin with them also. Thanks for the comment.

In Canada we have 3 falcons. The smallest is the American Kestrel (formerly sparrow hawk). The middle sized is this bird, the Merlin (formerly pigeon hawk) and the largest is the Peregrine Falcon.
